Hometown: Rigaud, Quebec

·      Played in the 2008 CHL Top Prospects game picking up one assist and a five minute major for fighting with Steven Stamkos.

 

·      He played Midget AAA for the Chateauguay Patriotes before being selected first overall by the Sea Dogs in the 2006 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Draft.

 

·      Participated in the 2007 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament and was named an assistant captain for Team Canada.

 

·      Was one of two 15-year-olds named to the Quebec team that competed at the 2006 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Regina, Saskatchewan.

 

·      His first hockey team was the Rigaud Blackhawks and he honed his skills on an outdoor rink in Rigaud, keeping up to his two older brothers Martin and Hugues.

 

·      He wears number 45 because he had the same number in Midget AAA and they had a great year.

 

·      If he could invite any three people to dinner he would choose Hall of Famer Raymond Bourque, U.S. cyclist Lance Armstrong and former NHL great Maurice Richard.
